If you have a serious problem with viruses and other malware on your computer and you’ve already tried every other antivirus out there, your solution could lie in this program: ComboFix. Warning! This program is extremely powerful and should only be used by expert users. In many cases, ComboFix is the only way to save your PC, but for it to work, you have to know what you’re doing if the infected files are affecting the system, and you might have to reinstall everything all over again.
From the images, you can see that the user interface isn’t exactly user-friendly. It truly resembles the “blue screen of death” to anyone who doesn’t know what they’re doing, which is further evidence that this program is not suitable for all users. Be very cautious in using ComboFix, because there is no guarantee of any kind if you don’t know how to reinstall something or recover your backups.
ComboFix should only be used as a last resort, after you have tried every other possible option to disinfect your PC. The program’s recovery methods are quite aggressive, but they will be useful if your computer has been infected with a program like QooLogic, SurfSideKick, Vundo, or Look2Me.
